Easy Turkey Cutlets

Yields4 Servings

 4 turkey cutlet pieces (4 oz each)
 2 tbsp butter , divided
 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
 ¼ tsp kosher salt
 ¼ tsp black pepper
 ¼ cup finely chopped onions
 1 clove garlic , minced
 1 tbsp all purpose flour
 1 cup chicken broth

Season the turkey with the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

In a skillet melt 1 tablespoon of the butter over medium heat.

Cook the turkey 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove from the pan.

Melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter.

Add the chopped onions and garlic to the pan.

Cook, stirring occasionally for 2 minutes.

Add the flour to the pan and cook, stirring constantly for a minute.

Pour in the chicken broth and cook, stirring constantly for 2 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Add the turkey cutlet back to the pan, reduce heat to low.

Cover the cutlet with the sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
