French Onion Pork Chops

 4 lean pork chops (about 4 oz. each)
 1 onion, sliced thin
 1 tsp. minced garlic
 ½ cup shredded Gruyere cheese
 2 tbsp. Lipton Onion Soup Mix
 2 tsp. butter
 1 cup beef broth

Season your pork chops with salt and pepper and sear on each side. Set them to the side.

Add the butter to the pan and start to sweat your thinly sliced onions. Add your beef broth and soup mix.

Cook until they are browned. Add you pork chops to a baking dish. Layer onions on top and pour the broth around them.

Top with cheese and bake just until cheese is melted and pork chops are cooked to your desired temp
