Cook the beef in a pot. Once the meat is no longer pink, stir in the onion, bell pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Continue to cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add the marinara sauce and allow the sauce to bubble before adding the broth. Cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Mix your ricotta, parmesan cheese and ½ of your basil together.
Serve the soup with the mozzarella balls, small spoonful’s of the ricotta mixture and the rest of your basil.
