Sear your chicken pieces that have been seasoned with salt and pepper, until they are done.
Remove them from the pan.
Add all remaining ingredients to the pan, except the cornstarch and green onions.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Mix your cornstarch in a few ounces of water.
Pour the cornstarch into the sauce, stirring constantly.
Allow the sauce to thicken.
Toss the chicken in the sauce.
Garnish with green onions!
