Slow Cooker Mushroom Beef Stew

 1.50 lbs. diced beef sirloin
 1 cup sliced leeks
 1.50 cups sliced mushrooms
 1 diced green pepper
 3 cloves of minced garlic
 2 tbsp. tomato paste
 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
 2 tsp. dried thyme
 6 cups beef stock
 2 tsp. salt
 1 tsp. pepper
 2 tbsp. cornstarch

Add all ingredients to the slow cooker (except cornstarch) and stir well.

Cook on high for 6 to 7 hours or until beef is very tender.

Mix your cornstarch with a small amount of water. Stir it into the stew well.
Return lid and allow it to thicken.
